What many people don’t realize is the impact of being interviewed in a major newspaper, media outlet, or AP news story. That little bit of publicity that may seem minor to many folks actually translates to increased ticket sales, increased attendance, and recognition…which then leads to increased revenue, increased assistance to filmmakers, and, yes, funding from sponsors and donors.
