My initial training was in graphic design, fine arts and communication arts, but crap happens. It was an incredibly expensive major, with little reward at the end, other than the love of being in a creative field. My Associates Degree is in Graphic Design, but I had to switch majors when I went for my baccalaureate degree, well, I had the joy of enrolling in a university that was over-enrolled and under-staff: I would have had to stay in school an extra two years just to take a digital graphic design class. (This was when the commercials arts were transitioning from t-squares and French curves to digital software…not a pretty time for a graphic design student.)

I still love graphic design, and I frequently produce logos and web design for my own projects. I figured I’d include a few examples because I think it’s important to understand how well-rounded a person’s background can be… that helps to eliminate any stereotypes or pigeonholing –not that you’d do that. :)
